Stories of Hope: SHORTS is an inspirational short story and conversation series featuring real youth sharing real stories of how finding their pathway to hope was possible despite the emotional challenges they faced. The stories include interviews with youth and professionals all demonstrating hope is possible. Each story concludes with a youth guided discussion to help the audience engage their own story of hope.

PRESENTED BY Z-CARES

To get the word out to all Californians, All It Takes has launched a new public service announcement (PSA) campaign with three primary goals:

  1. Inform the general public that California schools are dedicated to supporting student well-being.

  2. To recognize and appreciate the influence and impact of custodians, cafeteria workers, bus drivers, and others have on our students in the education ecosystem. We are all in this together.

  3. A call to action/reminder for those who work in education that they are a vital part of the solution to the mental health epidemic our students are facing in the wake of COVID-19.

This PSA campaign will serve as a reminder for every person in the California education ecosystem to embrace their powerful role in fostering healing and resilience in our youth who are struggling with mental health concerns at increasing rates.

Youth: Inspire Change Through Art

There is a lot going on in the world these days. It’s okay to feel tired, overwhelmed, angry, scared, confused. It’s okay to just feel. As part of the Hope & Justice Art and Film Contest offered by Youth Creating Change, young people are invited to express themselves and use these feelings and their voice to encourage purposeful action and to start conversations that matter – through art.
